BuildSweep

Reclaim Xcode disk space without deleting source files.

Diagnose Xcode-generated storage locally, understand what can be rebuilt, and move only narrowly verified items to Finder's Trash after exact review. Empty Trash only when you are ready to free the space.

BuildSweep is not yet available for public download or purchase.

Diagnosis first. Action second.

Classification and actionability stay separate, so generated data is not treated as disposable just because it belongs to Xcode.

01

Diagnose locally

Inspect supported Xcode storage on your Mac without scanning source trees or uploading the inventory.

02

Review the evidence

Separate rebuildable items from review-only and protected data before anything can be selected.

03

Move, never erase

Confirm an exact frozen plan before selected, revalidated items move to Finder's Trash.

Narrow by design

The initial cleanup boundary is limited to verified Index.noindex and Build/Intermediates.noindex leaves inside supported DerivedData entries.

  • Does not scan project source trees
  • Does not permanently delete files
  • Does not empty Finder's Trash
  • Does not treat Archives, test results, SourcePackages or simulator data as cleanup targets
