BuildSweep Privacy

1. Local storage diagnosis

BuildSweep is designed to inspect supported Xcode-generated storage on your Mac. Storage paths, classifications, selected items, cleanup plans, and cleanup history are processed locally by the app.

The current product design does not require uploading your scanned storage inventory, project source code, or cleanup history to VaultDevLabs.

2. Files and folders

BuildSweep does not scan project source trees. It inspects supported Developer storage locations and keeps the initial actionable boundary limited to narrowly verified DerivedData leaves.

Selected items move to Finder's Trash only after an exact plan is shown and confirmed. BuildSweep does not empty Trash.

3. App records

BuildSweep may store local settings, access authorizations, exclusions, and cleanup history on your Mac so it can preserve your choices and explain previous outcomes.

Removing the app may not automatically remove every local record or item already moved to Finder's Trash.

4. Website and support data

The VaultDevLabs website may collect limited first-party analytics described in the main VaultDevLabs Privacy Policy. Those website events are separate from BuildSweep's local storage diagnosis.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, macOS version, app version, screenshots, and issue description. Do not send source code, credentials, or sensitive file contents unless support explicitly requests a suitable redacted example.
